Originally from Warren, Ohio, and most recently residing in Savannah, Georgia, Cody was more than a skilled Gracie Jiu-Jitsu instructor—he was the embodiment of resilience, empathy, and unwavering integrity.
At Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Savannah, Cody wasn’t just a coach—he was a mentor, a guide, and a true friend. He trained with passion, led with kindness, and cared deeply for every student who stepped onto the mat. Whether helping a nervous beginner find their footing or challenging a seasoned fighter to push harder, Cody brought his full heart to everything he did.
His philosophy extended far beyond martial arts. Cody believed in building people up—mentally, physically, and emotionally. He inspired confidence in others not through force, but through understanding and encouragement. He made people feel capable, worthy, and seen.
